TORNADOSeedance 2.58 sec9:16

The tornado was a street sweeper the whole time.

A car drives into a tornado and finds a street sweeper powering the whole storm. The operator switches it off, then right back on.

  1. Add one clear photo or character sheet of yourself. You become the operator.
  2. Open Seedance 2.5 with references and paste the prompt below.
  3. Draft at 480p first. The lever timing is the part to check.
The prompt
Create a photorealistic 8-second vertical 9:16 video in one continuous dashboard-camera shot.

CORE STORY
A car enters a tornado and discovers a street sweeper powering the entire surrounding storm. Its operator switches the machine off by THREE SECONDS from the start, making the tornado collapse. They then restart the machine, rebuilding the storm around both vehicles.

The story must be understandable without dialogue or captions.

CHARACTER REFERENCE
Use your own photo or character sheet (image_1) as the identity and wardrobe reference for the street-sweeper operator.

Preserve their face, hair, glasses and outfit exactly. The reference shows ONE person. Keep their appearance consistent throughout. Do not reproduce the character-sheet layout, labels, white background, or multiple versions of them.

Their face and upper body are clearly visible through the sweeper’s front glass. They treat controlling the tornado as an ordinary part of their job. Calm concentration, followed by mild annoyance. No exaggerated acting or dialogue.

CAMERA AND COMPOSITION
Fixed wide-angle dashboard camera inside a car. A narrow strip of dashboard remains visible along the bottom.

The car moves slowly through the dust, then stops approximately three meters from the sweeper. Keep the camera inside the car throughout.

One continuous take. No cuts, zooms, external viewpoints, slow motion, or transitions.

Use a compact municipal street sweeper with a large clear front window, two prominent rotating front brushes, a central suction intake, and a large control lever beside the operator.

Keep the sweeper centered and close enough to see the operator’s face and lever movement. Its cab and brushes occupy most of the middle and lower frame.

Keep the glass clear enough to read their actions, with restrained reflections.

CRITICAL SPATIAL CONTINUITY
The car enters ONE tornado. The street sweeper is inside that SAME tornado.

While the machine runs, both vehicles occupy a small interior pocket surrounded by opaque rotating dust.

Behind the sweeper: dense swirling dust.
To its left and right: dense swirling dust.
Above its roof: dense swirling dust.

Only the machine and a short patch of pavement between the two vehicles are visible through the relatively clear central pocket.

No houses, trees, open sky, horizon, or distant road are visible until the operator switches the machine off.

The camera never exits the tornado during the entry or reveal.

The surrounding dust chamber IS the tornado. Do not create a separate upright funnel beside or behind the sweeper.

TORNADO APPEARANCE AND CONNECTION
Use irregular, layered bands of brown dust rotating around both vehicles. Leaves and paper scraps sweep rapidly sideways behind and beside the cab, visibly following the surrounding rotation.

Low curved streams of debris peel away from the enclosing walls and spiral along the pavement into the sweeper’s suction intake.

The brushes, incoming debris, and enclosing storm operate as one connected mechanism.

Avoid a bright circular opening, tunnel, portal, or smooth symmetrical dust dome. The background should be turbulent, opaque, and uneven.

EXACT TIMELINE

0–1 SECOND — ENTER AND DISCOVER
Start with the car ALREADY crossing the tornado’s outer dust wall. No approach shot.

Leaves whip past the windshield. A brief curtain of dust parts enough to reveal the sweeper close ahead by ONE SECOND.

The car stops. The enclosing storm remains fully active around both vehicles.

1–3 SECONDS — IMMEDIATE SHUTDOWN
As the sweeper becomes visible, the operator notices the car and immediately reaches for the large control lever.

Their reaching motion begins during the reveal. They clearly pull the lever backward and completes the movement by EXACTLY THREE SECONDS from the beginning of the video.

The brushes stop immediately with the lever movement.

Do not hold on the sweeper cleaning or the operator waiting. Discovery flows directly into shutdown.

3–4.5 SECONDS — THE STORM COLLAPSES
As the brushes stop, all the surrounding dust walls lose rotation together.

Dust falls and disperses around BOTH vehicles, progressively revealing an ordinary suburban street, houses, trees, and an overcast sky for the FIRST TIME.

By 4.5 seconds, the outside world is clearly visible. A few leaves settle onto the pavement in front of the sweeper.

The sudden change from enclosed brown dust to an open street makes the machine’s control unmistakable.

4.5–5.5 SECONDS — RESTART
The operator glances down at the fallen leaves with mild annoyance.

Without pausing, they push the SAME lever forward.

The brushes immediately resume spinning.

5.5–8 SECONDS — THE TORNADO RETURNS
Loose leaves begin circling the machine and the car.

Broad rotating walls of dust rise around BOTH vehicles, progressively hiding the houses, trees, road beyond, and sky.

By seven seconds, both vehicles are fully enclosed within the tornado again. The sweeper remains visible close ahead through the central pocket.

End at eight seconds as leaves sweep across the windshield.

The return of the enclosing storm must be clearly visible before the ending.

LIGHTING AND REALISM
Realistic municipal machinery, believable glass reflections, natural textures, and subtle vehicle vibration.

While inside the tornado, daylight filters through brown dust, creating dim, muted amber illumination.

When the storm collapses, ordinary overcast daylight reveals the street. The lighting becomes dust-filtered again when the storm rebuilds.

Maintain the same operator, machine, car position, and neighborhood throughout.

Use dust, leaves, grass clippings, and lightweight paper debris. No explosions, lightning effects, supernatural glow, or flying buildings.

AUDIO
Roaring wind, leaves striking the windshield, a diesel engine, and rotating-brush noise.

When the operator switches off, wind and brush noise diminish together, leaving the engine idling and leaves settling.

When they switch on, brush noise and wind rise together.

No narration, dialogue, music, captions, subtitles, or added graphics.

NONNEGOTIABLE ACTION PRIORITIES
Reveal the sweeper by ONE SECOND.
Complete the lever pull and stop the brushes by THREE SECONDS.
Reveal the outside street by 4.5 SECONDS.
Restart the machine by 5.5 SECONDS.
Enclose both vehicles in the tornado again by SEVEN SECONDS.
End at EIGHT SECONDS.

Keep the operator’s control movement, brush rotation, and surrounding storm visibly synchronized.
